Unit converters that keep the dictionary honest
Each converter is a single conversion with the factor written out, a worked example, and a note about the trap — US gallons vs imperial, decimal megabytes vs mebibytes, SI kilo vs the legal inch, a cup of flour that was scooped not spooned. Nothing here uploads a file. Change the number; the result updates.
If a lab sheet, a listing, and a recipe all use the same word for different sizes, pick the page that names both sides. The reverse converter is linked when we actually built the pair.
Length & Distance
Race courses, floor plans, and hiking GPS rarely agree on the same unit. SI prefixes (ym to Ym) live on one meter grid. Legal inches, chains, rods, au, and parsecs are their own pages because those factors are not powers of ten.
