Sum of all transactions marked as expense (bills, food, shopping, etc.).
Net balance
Income minus expenses—positive means surplus, negative means overspending in the logged period.
Category label
Groups transactions for filtering (Food, Transport, Salary, and more).
Governing formula
Balance = Σ Income − Σ Expenses
Your running balance is the sum of all income transactions minus the sum of all expense transactions stored in this browser. Each row is an immutable ledger entry until you delete it.
